The official OBC review was comprehensive and engaging. The sample pages were well-written and were easy to understand. I appreciated how the author portrayed Agatha's character as an understanding and compassionate princess, unlike the daughters of the other aristocrats. Congratulations on the BOTD!

"Agatha the Beloved Queen" by Fred Pilcher tells the story of a royal noticing the disparity between rich and poor people and she sets about correcting this problem. I find that interesting and think it would be a great book to read and, perhaps, learn leadership skills from.

A true hero cares about the welfare of both the poor and the rich and respects them for their personality. It is indeed inspiring to see Agatha trying to bring an extraordinary change to Xana.

I am fascinated with the character of Agatha the Queen of Xara. She was clearly a woman of particular values and standards, wearing common clothes rather than dressing like an aristocrat. She believed that everyone should have enough money to live comfortably and like others who've commented, I'm curious how she accomplished this. Clearly this character was a skillful leader of the people of Xara and made a huge impact on their lives. I would say I want to read it, but I'm not a fan of fantasy. Most excellent review, thank you! Congratulations to the author on BOTD! Well deserved!

I loved how Agatha led her people, as she treated everyone equally and with regard despite their social status or financial background. This would be a good book to read.

Agatha possesses the characteristics of a good leader, and she wants everyone to be successful as she tries to change the system of only the aristocrats getting wealthier and the commoners getting poorer.

I find the reviewer's portrayal of Agatha as a reformer who wants to put an end to the current social inequalities to be quite intriguing and makes the book sound highly fascinating. I'm anxious to finish the book I'm now reading so I can start this one. I must congratulate on a wonderful review.
