I generally love medieval fantasy, and this book really sounds interesting, but I wouldn’t want to jump in from the middle. I guess I’d better check if I can find the two earlier parts of this adventure. Thank you for the lovely review!

This book sounds like an interesting combination of fantasy and modern connections like COVID-19. Thanks for the review, although I would also want to read the previous books first!

Compelling presentation but since I am not a fan of fantasy fiction, I'll have to pass on this one. But congratulations on being listed as Book of the day.

The plague that devastated the kingdom really seems to be reminiscent of covid. However, I don't like reading books from the middle of a series. Congrats though!

I'm not really sure what to make of this book from the review. I usually love fantasies, but I didn't get a good grasp of what the book was about other than the fact the north wasn't affected by the plague. I'll still check it out though.

I always love books that can stand alone I the middle of a series, although you will always want to read the others I have always enjoyed such books and this one seems to like one of them. Thank you for your great review.

Medieval fantasy isn't a genre I have previously enjoyed, unfortunately. Thus, I may skip this one. I hope this book is found and appreciated by the right audience. Congrats on the BOTD!

Great review! I enjoyed how the author skillfully weaved multiple viewpoints and maintained a medieval writing style. The focus on human relationships, rather than just magic, added depth to the fantasy genre. Your recommendation to start from the first book is spot-on. Happy reading and looking forward to the next installment!

Pretty good review. Appreciate the information about the previous books as I was not sure if I should read this as a standalone book or part of a series. After reading a few pages of the book and reading the review, I think the questions raised for me already would make it better to read the series in order although I could see how you could also read this as a standalone as it is very interesting.

Well done for this review. It seems like a blend of Sci-Fi with fantasy. I look forward to reading the whole book someday soon.

'On the Trail of the Unseen' captivates with a slow and enchanting start about a plague-stricken kingdom. The sorcerers' quest for a cure makes this a must-read for fantasy fans.

This book is about the event of a mysterious plague with seemingly no known cure, which got the characters moving for their survival. Congratulations BOTD!

Another book to recommend to my fantasy-loving daughter, since it fits all my criteria of good literature, even though I dislike the genre myself. Yet, a solid storyline and interesting development, great characters and my personal favorite, this delightful edge between fiction and reality. Lovely and deserving congratulations!

This was a really great and intriguing review! I’m sure that this book is worth a try, but I’m not sure that I’d enjoy it as I am not a huge sci-fi fan.
