The review was good. The one sentence about the plague and the kingdom threw me a little. I would have used the word "has" not th word "got" the kingdom. Other than that, the review was almost as enjoyable as the first 2 chapters of the book.

The book is well-written and engaging. The characters are well-developed and believable, and the plot is full of twists and turns. Armstrong-Jones does a great job of creating a sense of suspense and excitement, and she also manages to weave in some humor and heartwarming moments.

One of the things I really enjoyed about the book was the way Armstrong-Jones explored the themes of good vs. evil, love vs. hate, and hope vs. despair. The characters are all faced with difficult choices, and the book explores the consequences of those choices.

Thanks for the great review! I am not a fan of fantasy sci-fi, but your description of it made me interested in this book, and looking forward to reading it.

On the Trail of the Unseen' is an intriguing book title. A story full of suspense and intrigue. Promoting human relationship and leaving out details of sexual encounters are observations that make me want to read the book. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

This fantasy novel, where a swordsman is clueless in how to fight the plague and a sorceress has a solution to stop it, sounds spellbinding and captivating. I like that it can be read as a standalone. Great review!

The portrayal of the unseen seems fabulous in this fantasy, and it intrigued me to know about the prequel to this third part of the series.

The idea of multiple viewpoints honestly makes me nervous about a lot of books, so I'm not sure if this would be the book for me in that regard :eusa-think: but at the same time, warlocks and plagues (medieval sickfic, anyone?) sounds like it'd be up my alley, so I'm conflicted on this one especially :techie-studyinggray:

The third book in a series that connects characters together through fighting a warlock. It sounds like it is a character-driven plot, which is always appealing to me. Thanks for the detailed review.

Looks very interesting. I like books which focuses on human relationships just as much as magic. And I also like books which keeps the narrative suspenseful and guessing untill the end. And also the mediaeval writing style as it's mentioned in the review seems compelling.

Perhaps I need to just read the book, but based off your review alone I can’t see much conflict in the story. What’s pushing the characters forward besides the plague? I feel like there needs to be more than that. I like the medieval fantasy theme, though. Thanks for the review.

To be honest, I'm always hesitant to start a series from the middle, as you mentioned, I've felt like I was missing important parts of the story and references. However, this book seems intriguing, especially as it takes place in the medieval period which always brings about unique characteristics. Thank you for the review!

Lynne Armstrong-Jones seems to be good in using multiple points of view and very creative in writing this suspenseful sci-fi set in mediaeval period. The theme seeking cure for a plague is a well chosen plot. I would like to read this especially focused on relationships. You are equally creative in writing this book review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

The review is insightful. I love how the author explains about the characters' feelings in such an expressive and detailed manner. However, I did realise something was off after reading the sample, like some missing dots to connect, which I realized after reading the review was because of the book being the third installment in a series. I love the descriptive review as it beautifully sums up everything.
