The book sounds and looks so lovely! Just the thing I would have bought for my own children, knowing they would like the imagination just as much as I would the educational aspect of this book. Granted, they are way too old for it currently and, sadly, I will have to skip. Congratulations with BOTD, anyway!

This will be a good book to help children understand why it's necessary sometimes to wear glasses.

I like the book's cover very much, along with the title; they are very eye-catching. I'm curious about the book's message and what morals it is trying to convey. The author used simple sentences and beautifully coloured illustrations, which is what keeps the children's attention on the book. Thanks for this epic review; it brought a smile to my face.

I don't read children's books but this one seems really good. I like the premise and it is a book I would recommend to parents with small children. Great review.

"Mum, The Fairies Stole my Glasses" by Tracey C Ayres. An interesting children book, talks about Sally, a little girl who had some difficulty in her sight. Are fairies real? Even viewing foot prints, how sure is Sally to convince her Mum about the fairies that stole her eye glasses. Congrats on your #BOTD.

Aside from the valuable lesson about wearing glasses, this book also teaches the importance of organizing things. Many children find it hard to keep their bedroom clean and orderly. They may not realize how important it is to maintain an organized room in order to avoid losing their personal belongings.

I really like that you got your niece to read this book to get a child’s perspective! I think that’s really unique and gave you a great point to add to your review. Well done!

It sounds like a nice book for kids teaching them valuable lessons such as being organised if you want to find things you need, being optimistic and inventive, instead of having a fit because she couldn't find her glasses she invented a story about the fairies who must have stolen them from her, the importance of wearing glasses in general and I'm sure a lot more. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Excellent review of a fine children's book! I loved the sample, the story is interesting and it teaches children to be tidy, in addition to teaching them new words.

The suspense in the tale is definitely kid-friendly. Kids would want to find out if the fairies really did steal her glasses.

This seems interesting. The fairies are stealing glasses now, isn't that hilarious. I wonder what happened to Sally's glasses though. I will love to read this book with my little nephew, it would definitely be fun.
