Tis the season that my heart holds dear
The time of undaunted, fearless fun
Anticipation and hope permeates the air
And everything seems to ripen under yellow sun
The soul floats gently in the breeze
Bathed in the glow of tantalizing scents of night
Trapped in stupor of nature's comfort and ease
Captivated by the splendor of its light
The head works out of sync with the heart
The feet has an aimless mind of its own
Escapades and adventures have their part
But curiosity's magnet pulls all into the unknown
Oh the beauty and bliss of a summer's love!
Makes drunk the one who dares to drink....
