“Doctoroo & the Case of the Picnic Pirates” by Dr. Rachel B. Wellner is an illustrated book for children that takes place on July 4th in Washington, D.C. Doctoroo flies to D.C. to stop the bear cubs from performing their picnic piracy ways during the ceremony. The story is 46 pages of fun and education since readers learn the relationship between nutrition and health. This is a wonderful book that young children and parents should really enjoy. I plan to read this book to my great grandchildren so it will go on my reading shelf. Very good review.

A cute children's story stressing the importance of having a healthy, balanced diet. I like your review and agree that the formatting could have been better. Children's books generally tend to be best read on a tablet, not an e-reader.

I don't read children's books and this doesn't sounds like I would enjoy it anyway. The topic of health is very important so I am glad that is addressed as well as nutrition. Great review.

This is going to be a suspenseful and educative read for children. I appreciate that this book teaches children about nutrition and health in such a fun and exciting way. These are not only important topics but also impactful for children as they will learn healthy diets at an early age. Thank you for an honest review.

I didn't mind the book. I liked the subject matter and the storyline. It is definitely an older kids' type of a book though. And not as simple of a read as I was expecting. Overall not a bad book. Some little things bothered me while reading it, such as repeating their entire names throughout it (ie: Terence Toad, Louie Llama). But overall, I did appreciate the lesson on how foods affect you no matter your age.

I read the first few pages of the book and agree, the dialogue between characters is a good way to communicate the information. I too had to zoom in to read it on my eReader and as with most children's books, holding the paper in your hand allows for more interaction with.a child. The reviewer did a great job of sharing their thoughts and what could have been done better.

A nice review. Teaching children important lessons using stories is a wise option to learning. Just as the book teaches them some health and nutrition tips while they read. A nice one.

'Official Review: Doctoroo & the Case of the Picnic Pirates' by Rachel B. Wellner provides the readers with a thorough account of the story of Doctoroo and her team traveling the world to teach lessons about basic health. It presents the full picture of the contents of the book for readers. The point that the author uses a funny tale to teach children some basic knowledge of health and nutrition is worth mentioning in the review. Also, as mentioned in the review, the point that the story is laced with bits of suspense is remarkable for readers. Learning that the book is an educational read was great!

I love the scoop that they are solving medical mysteries, it's interesting. Adventures for the little ones and learning about health is a great idea. Good job to the author.

Thank you very much for your review.
