The reviewer is presenting a book that is enabling youth to learn about Health and is very important for their lives. Having them learn from engaging creatures helps keep their attention. It also helps children become a part of their own health habits does help to take some weight off of the parents. Very helpful for our youth.

This is a well balanced review that clear outlines the rationale for the rating as well as the pros and cons of the story. It attempted to give rich details in spite of the theme of the book not being as appealing when viewed throught the eyes of a child

I feel kids can gain alot from this book, especially as health and nutrition is covered. Kids don't always realise how important this is and unfortunately some parents will just give a child what they want to eat instead of what they need to eat to be healthy. Hopefully this could be of some help for parents too. Thanks for a great review.

Health and nutrition are interesting topics for kids, especially when they're exploring the foods they can eat. This story serves as a dynamic learning tool to help them understand how to properly take care of their body. I actually like the quality of the illustrations! Congratulations on the BOTD.

This is a lovely book, written with such immense grace that I enjoyed every single page. My only problem is that I felt that the book instead of teaching how to have a healthy relationship with food, divided it into "good" or "bad" food.

Doctoroo and the Case of the Picnic Pirates is beautifully illustrated. Teaching about health education is an important lesson to learn. I'm sure the children will love it. However, I'm concerned with the font size used, and with so many characters, it will be hard for the reader to follow the story. Thanks for the review.

Nutrition and health is a great topic for children. Seeing that the author is able to combine this two themes wit the book's fun being the same is enthralling

This book sounds like a fun and educational read for children and the adults who might read it with them. I like that the book attempts to teach readers about nutrition at a young age. I think anyone would agree that such education is needed, and teaching it through a story is a great way to keep a child’s attention. Thank you for the helpful review.

I appreciated the term you used to describe the narration as 'slack.' It was definitely overwhelming, especially in the beginning, with the multitude of characters and the fast pace, considering the target age range. Thank you for your honest review.

This is an inspiring children's book from the start. Doctoroo and her team must try to solve the emergency that threatens the Bear Cub from performing at the independence day celebration. Tips for healthy living are also packed in the book. Thanks for the review.

The Book by Dr Rachel B Wellner about Doctoroo and his team flying to Washington DC, has helped me learned a lot on the healthy and nutritious food to eat to be healthy and to avoid falling sick as the way Doctoroo taught the cubs on healthy ways to eat to avoid falling sick easily. The book also teaches us especially children to be obedient and respectful to their elders just as the way cubs respected the Doctoroos view of eating healthy.
