Review of Doctoroo and the Case of the Red Hot Hawaiians
Doctoroo and the Case of the Red Hot Hawaiians by Dr. Rachel B. Wellner is an amazing children's book; where animals are the main characters. Doctoroo, a doctor kangaroo, leads her team to investigate medical conditions and discover what could be behind the symptoms. In this story, they travel to Hawaii at the request of someone there. They found the three dancer pigs suffering from red, itchy skin, and they started to discover what could have caused this. They went on a search, and they finally got back with the diagnosis and the solution.
I like everything about this book. It's educational and has a lot to learn in a fun and easy way. There is useful information in every part. It's mainly medical, as the writer is a doctor, but I also found other things to learn. I liked the persistence of the team's search process. It teaches paying attention to details, as well as the importance of asking questions and attempting to find the correct answers. There is also a nice song about using sunscreen that is fun and educational. Also, I have to applaud the illustrations in the book; they were neat and fun, and they could help the reader visualize the story clearly.
There is absolutely nothing I hate about this book. The length is perfect; it is not too short, but not too long either. It's educational, but it isn't boring. It shows the information through practice, not lecture.
Because I enjoyed and liked every detail of this book, and because it's exceptionally well edited, as I couldn't find any errors while reading, I rate this book four out of four stars.
The book has all that you need from a children's book. So, I recommend it for parents who want to read something interesting to their children and for older kids to read it themselves.

I felt exactly the same way about their search process. And it's very kids friendly to follow a story with this type of structure.I liked the persistence of the team's search process. It teaches paying attention to details, as well as the importance of asking questions and attempting to find the correct answers.
