What a lovely way to remind children to be mindful of their health and not hide their problems away and hope they get better on their own. The teamwork of the animals to help the piggies also teaches an amazing lesson!

A funny story that offers learning experiences for children and allows them to explore the animal kingdom. The animal characters in medicine and their mission to solve the mysterious disease among the pigs seem fabulous.

To slip on a Tee, slop on some sunscreen and slap on a hat, or to slip, slop, slap, is not as informative and catchy as the song that goes with this charming children's story. Every possibility was explored in a very entertaining and informative way. Bright illustrations will enthrall young ones. So much to see in them. The story reinforces how not to get sunburnt. 4 out of 4 from me.

The review offers health and wellness lessons as the doctor explores a disease affecting the pigs suffering from red dots in Hawaii. A great way to explore cultures, countries, and health issues for children. The adventure catches the child's attention.

A magical kangaroo doctor with a frog and a koala as friends. That really sounds like the stuff children love. Makes me want to read the book.

I just love this cute colorful cover. It makes me stop and read what the book is about. That its set in Hawaii is a major plus as we lived there when the kids were little. Now I can share this lovely helpful book about health with my grandkids!

This book sounds cute, fun, and educational. I like that it combines a good story with information about health and the island of Hawaii. I’ll have to save this one for when I next see my niece. Thank you for the helpful review.

In "Doctoroo and the Case of the Red Hot Hawaiians" by Dr. Rachel B. Wellner, the medical team made up of cute animals go to Hawaii to help pigs who are red and itchy. This book is educational and adventurous for children. The illustrations are vivid and children will love them.

Making children learn through narratives and visuals is always enjoyable. The book will undoubtedly be an excellent option for educating my child about health and medicine. Very nice review.

I completely agree. It's difficult to find flaws in Dr. Wellner's books. She masterfully blends together health, medicine, and mystery, which can be quite a challenge when catering to young children. Thank you for your review!

Doctoroo is an adorable character. I love the cast of animals she travels with, as well as the humorous and witty storylines the author comes up with. The setting of Hawaii seems to be an excellent choice as well. Thanks for the review!
