This is a perfect book to teach young children about vital skills and values in life like being determined and compassionate. Tyler, a young rabbit, works hard to complete a list of duties provided to him in order to get a toy he very much wants for his birthday. With determination, he manages to complete them successfully and ends up getting the toy car he wanted. However, on the day of his birthday, another animal did not have a toy and so Tyler selflessly gives his hard-earned toy to him.

This book teaches the importance of working hard in order to get what we need and want. That there is indeed no shortcut in life. Then, even though we earn things rightfully, sometimes others need them more than we do. So, during those occasions, we need to exercise compassion and selflessness and help out wherever we can. These are deep life lessons that even grown-ups do not get sometimes. However, such lessons are beautifully embedded into this book, making it easier for the younger audience to grasp such big concepts. The illustrations are simple yet captivating, making the book perfect in every aspect. 5/5 would recommend this book.
