This book and it's amazing storyline will definitely make a good movie. I love the concept in which was written; the boy who was once a farmer turns out to become a wrestler. One would think this is a nonfiction too. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

Historical fictions tell a lot about the talent of the writer. It requres special skill to write a book that will make a reader believe it actually happened. However, I will have to pass this book, because I never had even the slightest interest in wrestling, boxing or any other aggressive sports.

Praesidium
Praesidium means no cruelty to animals. It includes human animals. It involves extinction and the groups
looking over and protecting.
Congratulations on being BOTD.

The sample pages did not appeal to me much. I do not find the concept of wrestling to be particularly compelling, despite the author's entertaining storytelling style. I appreciate the authentic feeling I experienced while reading about John's life on the farm. I am sure many other readers will enjoy this story, but I will skip this one. Congrats on the BOTD, though!

I am not a fan of wrestling, so I'll skip the book. However, I must commend the author for a book that 'flows like butter'. The book comes highly recommended by the reviewer already. Congratulations on BOTD. Thank you for the review.

Squirt's story is very interesting. And I see what the review means about the style of writing, it is hard to believe this book is a work of fiction.

One should never give up on their dreams, and Squirt does not appear to be one who just gives up on what he wants to do. This looks like an inspirational fiction novel. Thanks for the review!

I love that the book portrayed the protagonist so realistically that it resembled an autobiography. Thanks for the awesome review!

I love first person narratives that feel like the author is talking to me as if we're great friends. This follows the story of Squirt Malone as he grew up in a farm and later decided to pursue wrestling. A persevere main character is someone I aspire to be. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Twelve is incredibly young to leave home and go your own way! This sounds like quite an admirable character and I'd love to read his story! Well done on a really great review!

I admit the world of wrestling is not for under age, but I see determination and courage by John. He was brave enough to show and prove himself. Nice review. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

Squirt Malone's early years were very interesting. I don't think I've read anything about this period previously so I was fascinated with the life the family lived, and Squirt Malone left home at the age of 12 to pursue a career in wrestling. I agree with the reviewer about the steller writing all done in the first person, and making the book more interesting. Great Review! I've already bought the Kindle version. Congrats to the author for BOTD!

While punctuation mistakes can be distracting, it's great to hear that they didn't overshadow the overall quality of the book. Four stars is a fantastic rating, and it sounds like the errors were a minor issue. I appreciate your honest review and assurance that the book is still highly intriguing.
