Review of Hold Your Breath
Rana Bitar, an oncologist, is the author of Hold Your Breath. The author penned down her words by creating a collection of poems in this book during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. It comprises her personal experiences and viewpoints on cancer, death, life, and understanding of the purpose of one’s existence. Cancer being her field of work, she revealed her experiences with different patients, especially patients with COVID-19. Did her COVID-19 patients survive? What kind of doctor was she for her patient? You’ll find out in the book when you grab your copy.
The first positive aspect of this book is the cover. It is the first time I’ll see a book cover that gives explicit details about the title, plus what the book entails. The book cover displays a picture of a lady in the middle of the sea. Although the lady is in the middle of the ocean, she’s calm and holding her breath regardless.
Another positive aspect of this book is that Rana Bitar started by asking readers where they’ll want to be at the end of the world. Many people have never thought of this. Therefore this question will make them ponder their lives.
She explained where she wanted to be. By choosing to be all by herself by the ocean studying and writing, she shows that whatever or whenever we choose as our happy place is okay, and we shouldn’t allow anyone to make us feel bad about it.
Rana wrote the book during Corona, and she mentioned that the pandemic wasn’t rosy for everyone, including her because she lost her brother. Readers who lost their loved ones will relate to this, which will serve as comfort.
This book contains no negative aspects because there’s nothing to dislike about it; they edited professionally. I couldn’t find any grammar or spelling errors either. Therefore I’m giving it 5 out of 5 rating stars.
This book is best suited for people going through rough times; it’ll encourage them to keep holding their breath in the tempest storm.

You commend the book's cover for its explicit depiction of the title and its thematic relevance to the content. The image of a calm woman in the midst of the ocean, holding her breath, effectively captures the essence of the book's themes of resilience and endurance, which resonated with you as a reader also captivated my attention.
