I enjoyed the first book so it made me pick this up as well. And I was not disappointed at all. There was no dull moment for me. And you have done an excellent job with your review. I feel shy about mine after reading yours Amy.

Your review clearly illustrated the themes and the plotline of the book.
I enjoyed reading the first book in the series. So, I look forward to reading this.
I would like to know how Kim coped without the AIs' assistance.
Great review!

This seems like an interesting sci-fi novel. I haven't read the prequel yet, so may do so before reading this one! Thanks for a very informative review, Amy! Also interesting to hear about the heron, as I also had no idea what they were 😆

I wasn’t sure how he would fit into a book. :tiphat:

You provided an informative review. I might consider reading the preceding book just to have a firm grasp of this series.

This is a great review, Amy! Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy reading Terms of Service as I found that world to be too grim. If the outer districts are anything similar, I'm not sure this book may be one for me. But I'm tempted to sample this book after reading your words!

It is indeed very grim! I’m afraid, though, that is the way our world is headed. I do think, however, that the advancements seen in these books can be useful if used correctly. :tiphat:

Thank you for sharing your review of "The Prophecy of the Heron" by Craig Stanfill. I appreciate your analysis and the recommendation to read both books in the series. I like the whole concept of an AI-dominated society. The story line sounds pretty engaging, I may add this to my reading list.

For a long time I avoided sci-fi because I believed that it wasn’t relevant to my life. But…it is. Unfortunately, this is something we’re probably all going to have to face. Especially if the world as a whole doesn’t do something. I don’t know how to address the issue, though. :techie-studyinggray:

A really amazing book I have to say. I've read it and it's a cool and fun read. reading your review, I just remembered all those fun and amazing moments. Of course, the book talks about hardships and struggles but it really is enjoyable. I am happy I read your review, it introduces the book in a great way. Thank you very much for the review!
