Goodbye diet!

a friend sent me a gift basket of steaks, burgers, pork chops, etc., it included dessert, a chocolate Lava Volcano cake

dee-lish!.............job well done OMAHA STEAKS !

i've been feasting on potato pancakes ( latkes ) , dark chocolate covered almonds, salt free Spelt pretzels, home made potato chips.....

just ordered almond / chocolate Halvah from nuts.com. and candied coconut Medjool Dates....

still didn't have my yearly " fruit cake " fix ( Noooo, not the " door stopper " kind ....also craving Tiramisu, a roast duck, and a really good English Trifle...

on this damp rainy day soups on!...i have a vat of mushroom / barley /veggie soup bubbling away...

come on over y'all...........everyone invited

B.H., can ya bring me some hot tortillas?............made some Carnitas yesterday, ( it's my fave taco ) there's plenty for everyone...i have some excellent beer here from our very own Microbrewery....
i'm praying that you're roof holds out till February! Dios Mio!...

next week i'm attempting a new recipe ( for me )...........Bread Pudding!........love that stuff !...my twist on it is to use Eggnog, for the " Custard " part............
