Review of Toxie Puff Boy's Travel Guide To The Garden State
If you are curious about the contaminated areas of New Jersey, you should read the book Toxie Puff Boy's Travel Guide To The Garden State by Anthony J Zaza. It contains much information about locations rife with air, water, and soil pollution. He starts describing an area of interest and then delves into why it isn't a safe place to visit.
I did not like any part of the book Toxie Puff Boy's Travel Guide To The Garden State by Anthony J Zaza.
I found it extremely difficult to get through the book. It is like a 7th-grade research project that wasn't edited and checked before being bound into a book. This book has so many issues starting with the word Toxie on its cover with the underline showing the word is misspelled. The author's first name is missing the A on the copyright page. The poor quality of the photos makes it appear that they were taken in a hurry as if the photographer wanted to avoid getting caught taking the pictures. There are so many different fonts used that it doesn't make sense. Mr. Zaza randomly changes the font in the middle of a sentence. There are so many punctuation errors and words misused. He started to use bullet points on one page but only had one point and did not remove the bullet point. He repeated an entire paragraph for two different locations. He underlines and capitalizes random words as if he wants to bring your attention to that word, but it isn't logical. He uses one subscript but doesn't include it anywhere in the book. Having so many mistakes makes it difficult to read this book.
I rate this book 1 out of 5 stars, as the author should have properly edited it. It also appears to be self-published, so he unlikely had someone proofread it for him.
I found it quite challenging to get through this book, so I can only recommend it to someone who wants to know more about contaminated areas of New Jersey.
