Whisper’s of the womb

Post by Joseph Nj Joseph »

In a world unseen, where shadows play,
A tender soul began to sway,
Within a mother's womb, it lay,
A child of hope, a heart to pray.

Tiny fingers, a beating heart,
A voice unheard, yet played its part,
In whispers soft, it made its plea,
A plea for life, to let it be.

"Mama," it seemed to softly cry,
"I long to see the open sky,
To feel your love, to hear your song,
Please, let my journey be lifelong."

But the mother, burdened with her fear,
A future uncertain, not quite clear,
She struggled with a heavy heart,
Torn between paths, worlds apart.

"I love you, my precious one," she sighed,
"But the road is long, and tears may hide.
I wish I could keep you safe and near,
Yet circumstances bring me here."

The child could sense the mother's plight,
A dance of shadows, day and night,
In this swirling storm of life's demand,
A plea for mercy, a tender hand.

"I understand, dear mama mine,
But in your choice, a life we'll intertwine,
Amidst the struggles, we'll find our way,
Together, through the darkest day."

The mother paused, her heart entwined,
With the child she carried, love enshrined,
In that moment, a flicker of light,
A bond of love, burning bright.

Tears flowed freely, love's embrace,
In that sacred space, a hallowed place,
The child's plea touched the depths within,
A choice was made, a new life to begin.

And so, the child in the womb still stayed,
In the cradle of love, it softly laid,
For in that moment, hearts had heard,
A song of love, a whispered word.

In the world unseen, where shadows play,
A mother and child found their way,
A tale of courage, love, and grace,
Embracing life's uncertain embrace.
