Slacker lives to fish. His best friend is killed and Slacker's life is disrupted, apart from the sadness he feels.

Thank you for the review.

At first I thought that this is some fishing manual :lol2:. Thanks to this review I now know that this is interesting mystery book with some fishing in it.

Who is Slacker's friend Jerry? How did he die? It will be interesting to be able to read about the main character's thoughts before they take action. Interesting review.

My best friend means so much to me. The connection between both of us is quite strong. So I understand how Slacker must have felt, when his good friend, Jerry, died. Good review.

It is always fun to read about a well-rounded character, more so when even the other supporting characters feel like living beings. The book seems like it's right up my alley. Good review!

Oh dear, I feel for Parker. He grieves for his friend and still had to face the injustice of being accused of being his friend's murderer. Will he succeed in solving the mystery behind Jerry's death? Nice review.

I can imagine how Harry Mills got his nickname 'Slacker'. He releases most of the fish he catches. That explains the title. I was curious about it initially. Slacker is an interesting character. I hope he succeeded in proving his innocence.

Good Review. Slacker seems like the kind of guy who enjoys solitude. But, I wonder if it was right for him to befriend Jerry. I would add this to my reading list.

I always like the unexpected to happen in books. I guess in this book, this took place in the character, Slacker. I like that he changed as the book progressed. Great review.

I loved your review! My dad was quite a fisherman, so this story brings back memories of him coming home with all of his catch. I will add this to my long list of books that I hope to read.
