From a sampling, this seems like an interesting mystery novel following Slacker, an avid fisherman, who has decided to solve his friend's death. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I think it could be an interesting book and perhaps fun and intriguing. Although I particularly don't like slow-paced books. Thank you very much for your review.

Jerry Porter and Slacker create a strong friendship. Both love fishing, but when Jerry Porter is found dead, the prime suspect is his closest and best friend, Slacker. It seems there is much in between to unravel until Slacker becomes the main suspect. Nice review.

"Free Fish Friday" by Lee Stone. An interesting book, talks about the 37-year-old Slacker who later found the job that gives him the freedom to do what makes him happy, which is fishing. He is been admired by people in his community even though he avoids entanglements or commitments with people. Jerry Porter his good friend always fish with him when he comes around. Congrats on your #BOTD.

Can Slacker finally clear his name? Who killed Jerry? These are some of the questions that make the book captivating. Why are Slacker's friends giving him the cold shoulder? Shouldn't friends stand for each other during good and tough times? Great review; wonderful plot and sub-plots!

That reminds me of a year when I had to follow my uncle in the night to go fishing to avoid going to the farm the next morning. Fishing is fun but it is not without risk, I hope the accused young man will be able to prove his innocence.
