Review of Reconfigurement
We spend most of our lives hearing about how important money is. After all, it is the basis of all trade. However, what most of us need to learn is its importance when we are old enough to retire. The majority of people find themselves, at the age of retirement, relying on pensions from the government and surviving with the bare minimum. How fair is that when you have devoted your youth to working and earning money? This book is the solution to that anxiety-inducing problem.
In Reconfigurement, E. Alan Fleischauer teaches us how to plan ahead for those times. Whether you are American or not, this book helps the reader change their view about money and how one can live comfortably without only relying on pensions that, more often than not, are not enough. Being a financial advisor for over 20 years, the author aims to help us have a good life and not burden others by starting to plan from now on.
Packed with witty humor, the funny jokes in this book add a layer of enjoyment to the precious tips and information being delivered to us. Even though the topic might appear boring at times, the writer made sure to keep the reader engaged with beautiful prose and a writing style that showcases talent. It is extremely rare to find self-help books that are fun to read, yet E. Alan Fleischauer demonstrated his ability to turn one of the most boring topics into a fun read.
Therefore, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Devoid of any mistakes, I assume this book has been professionally edited. Moreover, it was a fun and quick read packed with valuable information everyone should know about. I did not dislike anything about it.
I recommend this book to everyone. Even though its target audience is Americans over the age of 40, it has valuable wisdom that anyone can benefit from and should start practicing in their life, no matter their current status.
