Throughout the book, readers are likely to be on the edge of their seats as they follow Marissa's journey to apprehend the serial killer and bring them to justice. The psychological toll that these events take on Marissa and her determination to solve the case despite the personal cost add depth and complexity to her character.

Catching a serial killer by a detective is no easy task especially when the detective becomes a victim of the killer. The story seems to be quite exciting and evoking interest in us to go through the book. Thanks for a clear and well expressed review.

The way the review describes the psychological depth of Marissa's struggles and her decision to protect her loved ones at any cost truly resonates with me. It's intriguing to see how her actions lead to misunderstandings, adding an extra layer of emotional tension to the story. This unique angle sets the stage for a gripping exploration of her relationships and personal growth.
