While vampire stories aren't my usual preference, I must admit this one truly captivated me. The author's adept blend of genres brings a refreshing twist that prevents the narrative from becoming mundane. Congratulation on achieving a BOTD!

A suspenseful story about vampire can be found in the book "Children of the Eighth Day" by Mark Graves. The story follows sixteen-year-old John Jones, who encounters ancient box. The story appears entertaining to me.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Ah a vampire story! Enough of it, not my cup of tea, so to speak. And the review says it all, a vampire trying to protect the human race from fellow vampires. I have heard a lot of this plot. Wait a minute! How did he do it? Did he succeeded? "Where one ends and the other begins", the review says. Could be "where evil ends and the good begins" or where "good ends and evil begins". Would that be right? No he did not succeed. That is why there is a second story. Let us perhaps take a look. What happened to him? The review made me wonder! Vivid description of the scene, as the review says! Wow! I will not be scared. No! But I will feel horrible. That is why most of the time I do not like vampire stories. But I would be lost in the pseudo-reality the vivid description deeply portrays. Suspenseful intermixed with fascinating chapters. Never bored. Perhaps it is time to try something so as to like something.

I'm really intrigued by the concept of Alexander McGill's journals and how they impact John's life. However, I’m not into spooky stories so I’ll have to pass this one.

Thank you for your in depth review of this book about the vampire world and the 16 year old. You did a phenomenal job of describing this story and I loved your honesty. I will not be reading it due to the violence and profanity.

Your review was beautifully balanced and brought out both the good and bad. The sample pages were gripping with the unsuspecting Carl to experience a life-changing event. The scene with Peterson and Ivan was gruesome and scary. The author described the scenes very well; however, since I do not read vampire stories, I will skip this one. Congratulations on the BOTD!

I do love a good supernatural book. Even with the reported errors, I do think that this would turn out to be an extremely enjoyable read for me. I'd like to see how Alexander tries to save humanity from immoral vapmires. Kudos on the #BOTD.

I love fantasy books and this seems like the sort I would love reading. I would love to find out what eventually happens to John and if he will succeed in his mission to save humans from evil vampires. Congratulations to the author on book of the day.

I find it difficult to get excited about this book because of the vampire theme. Added to that are the errors, which you describe in strong language as being in abundance.

Vampire stories are sometimes scary because I see them as horror, though they can be adventurous and educating too. It's great to see that there are a few vampires who will want to stop the catastrophe caused by others, just like Alexander.
