Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a children's book by R. F. Kristi that focuses on Inca & Company, headed by Inca, who believes he is a smart, perfect kitty and can cause a sensation wherever he goes. Missy, their mother, was invited as a chef judge at Le Cordon Bleu, a French cookery school of high reputation in the world, prompting them to travel to South Korea, including Solo and Terrance. She also wanted to use this opportunity to introduce her new business by presenting the cheese she made with the help of Fromage.
I could learn the meaning of some names in Korean, which is exciting to me, and the description of the place, in particular, made me wish to pay some visits there someday. I admire the smarts and bravery exhibited by the kitties and the doggies, as I wouldn't have ever imagined such attributes were embedded in them. The mutual understanding and unity among them as a group is worth emulating by humans, as they always look out for one another when necessary and respect each other's personalities.
Every aspect of this book is entertaining, and I couldn't stop laughing at some points. The pictorial representations of the storyline being narrated are well-placed for each chapter. I learned a lot from this book, as I observed the importance of being skilled in whatever you do because it can make one recognizable globally. I appreciate the author's kind gesture shown towards the readers by providing a website where they can access other books written by her for free.
This book is professionally edited, as I noticed only a few grammatical errors, which did not prevent me from enjoying every part of the book. I did not find any negative aspects of the book. Therefore, there is nothing to dislike about it. The author wrote it in a lively and organized setting, as every chapter comes with this anxiety and eagerness to know what the outcome of the next phase of narration will be.
I will rate this book a five out of five stars because it was interesting and engaging. Hence, there is no reason to deduct a star. I would like to recommend this book to any child who appreciates the act of being sensitive, smart, and kindhearted because those are some of the attributes of the characters in this book. Lovers of animal-related stories will find this interesting, as there was a unique display of their characteristics in this story.
