Niki in the first place sounds like a female but it turns to be a male, a character that loves inflicting pains on his victims a murderer as well, he love money too even his sponsors feared him. I love the this character discrimination

I’m curious about Andrew and Niki and what would happen. However, I’m not a Christian and not a really religious person at all and since I’m sure Andrew is the hero in this story, I really think I would find it difficult to relate to him at all. However I do hope that others enjoy this. Great review!

I'm not sure a thriller with supernatural stuff and religion involved is my kinda book to read but the review is so good and justified that it makes me want to read this book. Thanks!

A very thorough and commanding review! although I don't like crime fiction, after reading the sample, I have to agree with the reviewer: the novel is well-written, with a detailed description of the setting and main characters.

'The Shaft' by Scott B. Delaney is Gripping thriller with a supernatural twist that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story follows a religious movement called the Call, and the tension escalates as an assassin is hired to stop them. The characters are well-developed, and the suspense is intense. Highly recommend if you're into crime dramas and thrillers with a touch of the supernatural.

This sounds like it's very dense and interesting. Nothing like a cult-like movement to get everyone's hairs up. Good review!

“The Shaft” by Scott B. Delaney is a story about the biggest Christian recruitment ever seen, the Call. The details of this recruitment sound very much like the GOP beliefs in Congress regarding abortion, same-sex marriage, stem-stell research and cloning. The excitement began when a secret society hired an assassin named Virshenko to eliminate the leaders of the movement. The assassin group is led by a man called Prometheus. Leaders and an entire family were killed but more and more people are joining the Call. Andrew Morton and his family are the next target for the assassin but God sent heavenly spirits (angels) to watch over them. Prometheus decides to kidnap Andrew and fortunately his family has already gone into hiding and are being protected. Will Niki kill Andrew or will he be saved and reunited with his family? Will the Call ultimately fail and the world can go back to the past? In interesting book but I am opposed to the Call’s beliefs since women should not be told how to control their bodies, same-sex marriage does not bother me and I am totally opposed to cloning. Very good review.

This book is a unique kind of Christian fiction, and I love that the author has a background with God as well. How will God and the heavenly angels protect Andrew and his family? Thanks for the great review!

Well, this sounds very interesting; a thriller in a Christian setting. I am curious to find out what happens to Andrew and his family. I hope they’ll all walk out this alive!

Thank you for the interesting review!

The Shaft by Scott B. Delaney is a gripping thriller with a supernatural touch, delving into the clash of good and evil. Well-developed characters, suspenseful plot, and strong Christian themes make it an enjoyable read. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

I'm very intrigued because of this review. I'm not Christian but I do enjoy reading stories from different perspectives. I also like reading certain controversial subjects as long as they are written with characters that take stances on both sides of the opinion. I'm not sure if I will read this but I did download it and added it to my list.

This world seems terrying to live in. There is a religious movement called The Call that controls everything. It seems like the book is well-written and has a complex storyline and a great world-building. Congrats on BOTD!

The book sounds intriguing and at the same time scary. It's a case of evil versus good.
I hope Andrew and his family were safe in the end.
Good review, and congrats on the BOTD.

Thank you Prisallen for the informative review of The Shaft by Scott B Delaney. I was initially drawn to the book because of the supernatural theme. However, I will probably avoid reading more than the sample provided on Amazon. The book seems well-written and intriguing, but it does have a heavy religious tone which I do not enjoy. Congrats on the BOTD though!

Your review Is absolutely amazing.
Personally I'm of the opinion that religion has to be personal. Religion is meant to suit it's followers and not the other way around.
