When I read it I liked it a lot but now when I think about it I don't know if it was the best depiction of abuse in a relationship.

It Ends With Us is an amazing book i would recommend it to everyone out there. Few things I love about this book is , it was very easy to connect with characters and story line. This is the best book of Colleen Hoover, she has also written some beautiful quotes in the book. Basically, she gave life to the places , the name Dory , Emerson and everything is just so perfect. This book ends on a very beautiful note which is that you should forgive yourself by forgiving others too and it's okay to move on and you should be the one to bring the change you want to see. It's a five star book for me and I'll highly recommend it to people out there

I read this book because of its popularity but I must say that the FMC was portrayed as the innocent and a victim but she was not. Ryle was a character that needed a person who understands him, empathize with him. Lily was too busy playing the victim card. At some point I was so done with this book. Lily was a red flag.PERIOD.

This book of Colleen Hoover " It Ends With Us" has an incredible theme. Although, I didn't like reading books but after reading some starting pages of it, my interest grew and I was literally really amazed by lily's heart wrenching story; her childhood trauma, abusive father, anger, frustration, her connection with Atlas corigon and years later, her marriage with Ryle Kinachid , their naked truths and the abuses.....Their love triangle ( atlas + lily + ryle).
Well, I must say that reading this book was my 1st experience that I'll never ever regret reading and as well as, after reading this book I've started reading more books and I've also learnt that no matter, how what the circumstances are, no matter at what point your relationships are , you must not bear or tolerate being physically abused by someone... you must take the step to get rid of an abusive relationship and stop befooling yourself by giving chances to them every time. As just how as Lily said that make a list of every abuse, harsh thing you were done and every time you think of going back, read and remember them.
Moreover, I really got inspired by lily's character, the way she remained strong and choose a better life for her daughter but on the same spot I felt really bad for Ryle kinachid, he loved lily deep down from his heart but he could not resist his anger, his rage and abused lily..... but sometimes I wonder, that was all because he also had his childhood trauma where and when his own brother, accidentally got shot by his own hands and died! and he could never forget and overcome his that childhood incident.
I wonder, what if he could have control on his anger and aggression....then, their story would have really been different.
On the other side, there comes Atlas, who , since his first encounter with Lily was literally so amazing...his life was either not going on well but despite all those problems, he survuved his depressed, frustrating days and choosed to overcome his bad days. I also liked her connection with Lily, their talks, his cookies, his calmed behaviour, lily's care and affection for him, Emily's show, his words for lily ( keep swimming lily.....! ) and their promise to meet in BOSTON, where everything is better.....

Title: It Ends with Us
Author: Colleen Hoover

As a reader, "It Ends with Us" by Colleen Hoover took me on an emotional journey that left a lasting impact. The story centers around Lily, a young woman navigating the complexities of love, relationships, and personal growth.

From the very beginning, I was captivated by the depth and vulnerability of the characters. Lily's journey is filled with love, heartache, and difficult choices that challenge her beliefs and strength. The author skillfully explores the themes of domestic violence and the cycle of abuse, shedding light on the intricacies of these challenging situations.

The relationships portrayed in the book are both tender and turbulent. Lily finds herself torn between her first love, Atlas, and a new relationship with the charismatic neurosurgeon, Ryle. The dynamics between these characters are complex, and the author does an excellent job of portraying the challenges and conflicts that arise.

The narrative unfolds at a steady pace, weaving together past and present to provide a deeper understanding of Lily's experiences. Hoover's writing style is engaging, evoking a range of emotions as I followed Lily's journey of self-discovery and the difficult decisions she faces.

One aspect that stood out to me was the author's ability to handle sensitive subjects with care and authenticity. Hoover presents a realistic portrayal of the complexities of abusive relationships, shedding light on the emotional struggles and the internal conflict faced by victims.

While the book does have moments where the narrative feels slightly repetitive or drawn out, the overall impact and the thought-provoking themes make it a worthwhile read. "It Ends with Us" is a poignant and powerful exploration of love, resilience, and personal boundaries that will stay with me long after turning the last page.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a compelling and emotional contemporary romance that tackles tough subjects with sensitivity, "It Ends with Us" is a book that should not be missed. Colleen Hoover's storytelling prowess and the depth of her characters make for an engaging and thought-provoking reading experience.
