This is the first time I am seeing something like a senior romance. A successful older woman trying to find love and happiness. I am eager to learn if she would be able to choose the right man and experience the love she needed.

In this romantic novel, the characterization of Charlotte seems fabulous as the story revolves around Charlotte, who seeks true love and happiness in her sixties. I hope she resolves her conflict in choosing her soulmate between the two men.

'Free falling' has a smooth transition with love really depicted in a fair manner by Charlotta O'Malley as the chief protagonist. She tangles romantically and in a mature state with a flowing sequence.

:eusa-think: By the reviewers description I found myself interested in Charlotte's quest for love and I admit that although romance novels are not my genres I may enjoy reading it. But as it's not my preference I will pass on it but, for those that do like romance novels I am sure you will enjoy it

The writer has really given us a real perspective of a real life theatrical art work. As I read the book I get more mesmerized which open mindedly wanna make a reader not to think of a break at all.The flow is perfect.Kudos...

A very good review -- I found it more intriguing than the book itself, due in fact to the author's literary style made it difficult to follow, as noted by the reviewer. I did appreciate the fact that this was a decision to parallel the viewpoint of Charlotte, the protagonist, as she experiences the world through the lens of dementia, but in the sample I read I simply couldn't follow the plot or find any sympathy for the characters, so I guess this book is not for me but will probably prove worthwhile for someone with more persistence.

It's very rare to read a romance novel with senior main characters. It's a refreshing take. I'll check this book out.

With the introduction, I thought it was a high society class intrigue story. But later and from the review, I learned that is a romance story. Both are not my cup of tea again. But the review lured me into it. What is the healing power of the Celts? Excuse me, I am from another planet and I am unaware of it. And another one, what is Lewy Body Dementia? I know dementia but I never heard of Lewy Body Dementia. Ah! I am learning. "From the perspective of a by-passer". Wow! How does it differ from a third person? That would be nice! Perhaps, the lack of words to describe a scene could be allowed to pass since even the review mentioned that emotions can be appreciated and perhaps felt. I may have to break my belief that I am not lured by romance and drama.

Hi Alex, I'm glad you mentioned the odd writing style; I also found it a little unsettling and found myself re-reading paragraphs to fully understand the settings. The content and storyline are lovely, but the writing style also left me a little underwhelmed.

Everybody needs someone to love and cherish them no matter how successful and independent they are. Charlotte's story that is a senior romance, is something I've been meaning to read since a very long time. This story seems like a wholesome one and tells people why they make the choices in life and how difficult it can be sometimes. Great job with the review.

Seems like there’s a lot of really unique elements to this romance story that show promise, but the writing style isn’t drawing me in, unfortunately.

Freefalling seems to have a lot of disturbing themes like childhood trauma and illnesses besides the romance. I don’t think this book is for me. Nonetheless, congrats on the BOTD!

The Author has not described what kind of love does Charlotte need, Love is of many kinds may be sexual pleasure or loving a person by his or hers looks, attraction at first sight.
Love has to be defined ,and at an age of 60, an understanding partner should be searched upon.

Free Falling by McAnam seems like an interesting storyline. The theme of love and relationships has been exploited well through Charlotte. Her quest for finding love isn't hindered by her age. Congratulations to the author on BOTD selection.
