When you see love, you see sacrifice, forgiveness, tolerance. And anyone can find love anytime and anywhere. Everyone deserves to be loved no matter their age status. I can feel Charlotte's pain, being molested by someone that is supposed to be a figure of security, that can tamper with the mindset and attitude towards love coming from the gender.

Senior romance is certainly an interesting topic to read about. I am curious to see whether Charlotte forgives her father and who she chooses in the end to be her romantic partner. Congratulations on BOTD.

I'm not within Charlotte's age range. But I could tell what this struggle was for. I have never thought romance at her age could be something this strong. Great review.

I feel for Charlotte. How did she cope with the challenges she had to go through as a child? Did she ever find the peace she was seeking? I will read the book to get answers to these questions.

I honestly can't imagine how hard it is for Charlotte to find love, at her age and battling demons from her past. I would definitely want to find out if she eventually ends up finding the true love that she seeks. Congratulations to the author on book of the day.

A romantic book that talks about how Charlotte find love after several years of thinking she did not need a use of man in her life due to the fear of a sickness that has roots in her family. Knowing the effects of Lewy Body dementia and the healing powers of the Celts is amazing. I also like how the book characters were well-developed. Nice review.

Thank you for such a detailed review. I was having a hard time deciding if I thought I might want to read the entire book, particularly considering I'm a senior. I couldn't put my finger on exactly why the hesitation. But you nailed it, it's definitely the author's writing style. While I don't appreciate long windedness, like I can tend to exhibit, the short, almost chopped-like writing style didn't set well with me, either. Thank you again for your review, honesty, and astuteness in defining what was slightly irritating for me, anyway, with the read.

This seems like an interesting story, as it is not only a romance but also covers deeper topics. It would be interesting to follow Charlotte on her quest to find love at her age, while also dealing with illness and past trauma. Thanks for a wonderful review, and congrats to the author on BOTD!

After reading your wonderful review I believe that a more appropriate recommendation would be "for every adult who loves romance". I am not a senior citizen but I know I would enjoy reading this book.
