From the review, I can already sense there is a bit of mystery in the book. I also like reading series novels, and I might add this one to my reading list. I can't wait to see what happens to Jeffrey and his spouse.

The 1800s played a significant role in America's history, and this mystery captures the culture of that era. Thank you for your review.

Your review brilliantly captures the vivid setting and the emotional journey of the characters. Your description of the bitter cold weather and the immigrants' struggles brought the scene to life, making me feel their challenges firsthand. Great review.

"Their Winter Burn" by Mary Ann Trail effectively immerses readers in 19th-century America, depicting migration struggles and cultural dynamics. The engaging character development and captivating narrative outweigh minor issues, making it a deserving 5-star read for historical mystery enthusiasts.

I think this is an excellent fictional book. The rich culture of the people in Boston in the 1800 encouraged migrants to the city. I want to find out how this family coped with the chilling cold. Thanks for the review.

Historical fiction is my genre, and I could not be more elated to know that this book is a historical mystery. The first few pages of the book are quite mesmerizing and the display of many historical facts and references make the journey more captivating. I can't wait to see what happens with the shocking revelation and how it will affect immigration as we know it. Thank you for writing a captivating review!

It is heartbreaking to see that after well over 200 years there are still people forced into immigrants for pretty much the same reasons. I am definitely interested in finding out just how deep the similarities run and the intriguing story and mystery certainly aids my goal to read the book.

Historical mysyery is not a genre I'm very familiar with, but it sounds like something I would like. The story of migration during a very cold winter is gripping. Congrats on BOTD!

Great historical fiction novel with an air of mystery that is well thought out. I like how this particular review opens the plotline and grabs our attention perfectly. I wonder what awaits the new immigrant couple in Boston and what they find in their new home. Congrats on the BOTD!
