The book betrays its title as I thought this might be a fantasy but it does seem to contain helpful materials to help people understand the role government plays. The fact that the author also suggests places to read up on the issues is a big help. Thanks for the review.

I am a big fan of thrillers, but I don't know that this specific plot interests me. I'm not sure I'd like to read it, but very well done on a great review!

Dave Dorman, an African American police officer, a son, and a doting father of two adorable girls, is murdered brutally in broad daylight while on duty trying to cover a protest. The protest that started as a silent march quickly turned into a full-blown riot, and the mobsters knew the killer. The city hall does not want any investigation into this, but Dave's cop friend, BC, and Adam Weldon, an ex-Navy SEAL, decide to find Dave's killer. It sounds like an intriguing thriller. Congratulations on the BOTD!

I admire Adam and Davis for their unflinching patriotism even in the face of danger. They were committed to saving their country from the great dragon.

This is such a thriller story and at the same time very capitavating and refreshing. It has a geopolitical touch mentioning countries like China and USA, corruption of the governments etc. Characters like Adam kept me glued to the book. The storyline is very fast and has lot of twists. This a great book by Adam Weldon and a msut read for everyone who is into thrillers!

This sounds like a captivating investigative thriller. I am a big fan of fast-paced action and the type of suspense that keeps you invested from the beginning to the very end. I would love to read this one and find out what Ex Navy Adam Weldon found out that put unwanted heat on the "bigger fish." Thanks for the recommendation!

I find your discussion of the book's organisation useful. The section about the characters, in particular, stands it in good stead.
