"Waterworks" by Jack Winnick delivers an intense spy thriller with meticulous attention to detail. The pro-USA and pro-Israel stance may not suit all readers. The story's pace and counterterrorism focus make for an engaging read. Caution for violence and terrorism themes is advised for sensitive readers.

This book is a fast-paced thriller that is captivating. The main characters are interesting, and they both lead intriguing lives as individuals and as a team. The author is good at storytelling. Congratulations on BOTD. Nice review.

Though, I am not a fan of sci-fi fantasy books,I admired the role played by Lara and Uri to unravel the people behind the Terrorists attack.

All the Lara and Uri novels by Jack Winnick are in my Kindle Library waiting until I read others I put first. This one sounds like another I will enjoy since it is my favorite genre. The terrorism angle is going to be new to me, so I may have to move them up closer to the top of my list! Great review! Gave me all the information I would want without spoilers. These two characters are what make me look forward to reading the novels because there is some romance between them, and they seem to be such a good team. Congratulations on BOTD!

A novel involving detectives, people who are regarded as highly intelligent. From the sample I read and now this review, am excited. This is a nice unique experience.

It's impressive how the reviewer highlights the author's expertise and real-world inspiration behind the story. Knowing that the technology in the book is grounded in reality adds an extra layer of tension.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller novel following two government agents, Lara and Uri, who after being informed of strange events surrounding a water processing and testing plant outside of Los Angeles, are tasked with investigating any potential terrorist involvement. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

It is an interesting mix in a book: fish, polonium, Iran, USA and terrorism. How they are linked or would be put together to stop massive destruction and horrid death of many makes this book exciting as the power duo Uri and Lara investigate.

This book sounds intriguing. International terrorism is an enormous task; I hope Lara and Uri succeeded in the assignment. Congrats on being BOTD. Good review.

To be honest I read what the book was about and was not interested at all. However, after reading reviews it sounds as though the description does not give this book the attention it deserves. This sounds like an interesting, yet, shocking story that can leave a reader on the edge in each page.

Thanks for the thorough review. I just finished reading the Amazon sample and didn't want to stop. I love spy novels and films, so as soon as I have an available slot in my Kindle Unlimited subscription, I'll grab this so I can finish reading.

That is an impressive review. Good work. Once more, death and mayhem are potentially visited on the American people and Uri and Lara are brought into the fray.

After reading a short sample of this book, I must agree with you! It was definitely intriguing. As you pointed out, the author does a wonderful job of describing the objects, processes, and technical points without boring you or weighing down the story. I will be keeping this in mind for my next action/thriller read.
