What a great and clear review. Fantasy and dystopia are not my favorite genres to read. I also don’t like the heavy topics and happenings like religious wars and natural disasters and pandemic. I think I’m going to skip this.

What a great and very clear review. I like the talking animals but I am wary of heavy events like the religious wars, natural disasters and pandemics. I don’t like reading doomsday stories. I’m skipping this one.

I read the sample of the book and did it sound amazing. I loved it as soon as Carl the cat began speaking. I admit the war and violence in the opening lines of the book did want me to take a break but the common friendship, tender love and caring makes you want to know the journey the three take on. Thank you for this interesting review. I am sure this would also make a good gift to all the young generation because it preaches, love and caring in the most negative surroundings.

A dystopian drama, fantasy, animal characters, and Christian faith make of this an irresistible read. Personally, I'd be very eager to find out how 'salvation' is woven into the story.

I feel exactly the same about this book. Moreover, as a Christian, I find the topic of salvation woven into the story super interesting.

I had not thought of the younger generations to benefit from this read--your last sentence just resonates so much with what I'd like many people to understand.

Set in the distant future in a dystopian-like setting, today's BOTD is a thought-provoking read that follows humans and animals through trials and hardships, as well as miracles and hope. Although it's not the one for me, readers who enjoy religious reads with elements of fantasy will definitely want to download this one today! Thank you for your review and keep up the great work! :-)

This insightful review adeptly captures the fusion of dystopian and fantasy themes in this book. The character development, biblical influences, and the delicate balance between weighty themes and adventure provide valuable guidance for interested readers.

I find it creative that the book addresses profound themes embedding them in an adventure plot and using talking animals. Dystopian themes, fantasy, religious topics, goodness, friendship, and romance form a rich mix that, although rare, is engaging and fascinating.

I enjoyed your thoughtful review! I am not usually a fan of the dystopian genre, although the concept of a human, talking dog, and talking cat on a adventure sounds interesting. It's good to know that the author blended Christian references into the story and added scriptural footnotes.

A close friendship between a cat, a dog, and a human? Then they also went on an adventure. Indeed this story sounds enthralling. I'll like to read about their adventure and the people they met. Good review.

Congrats on BOTD!
A lot of readers will be drawn to this unusual book because it combines fantasy and non-fiction with friendship between people—a dog, a cat, and a puppy—while enjoying an exciting trip into the Smoky Mountains based on the Bible. It is uncommon for a book to contain both.
