Re: Dogs or Cats?

Definitely both! I was a cat person for almost half a century, still am and will always be...until I met this special girl some years ago, me and my shadow...dogs are different in so many ways. A cat rules the house with a flick of the tail and an iron paw. I always felt dogs were sooo needy at best and frightening at worst. They ARE more needy than cats...in a good way. My boy makes me feel safer than any human ever could. I know he would give his life to protect his Mami. The cats are still dear to my heart, but glad I discovered dog world too.

Love all those cuties...............such unconditional love...my late husband the uber-animal lover was writing a book about all of our fur babies...scads of kitties, Roxy and Rocky, Bernie who followed me into the car ( from the Hemingway house in key west ) did i take him?...sho nuff honey!.. Roy, his Airedale, etc...Harry, the cat who looked like a stockbroker..

I really should finish writing the book...it would write itself...i told him that " it was better than Cleveland Amory and would be a best seller too "

Most certainly dogs. But they can't be the little yappy ones, I like to play Frisbee and love to play with the dog. :)

I can believe it. I heard a couple years ago some clown in the Arizona Govt. was trying to get a bill through where dogs had to wear seatbelts while riding in a car.

Just reading recent local news...next town over a nannycam caught a woman and her two year old watching TV, there's a crash and a guy grabs the Mom and beats her senseless, throws her down the basement steps... They caught him, he just wanted money and jewelry, guess she didn't have enough...
Like I said...cats have their unique gifts, there is nothing like falling asleep with a cat purring on your chest or warm in your lap...or a kitten playing...
...but for the serious stuff like intruders, if Callie caught someone breaking in, the police would have to carry out remains...such a good boyyyy!
