Jan Ryde, 5th generation CEO of Hastens, inspires us through his book, When Business is Love, to bring out our best by applying love to everything that we focus our attention on so as to manifest abundance. Through the personal accounts shared by Jan concerning what worked for him and how he got past the dark ages at Hastens, this book delivers an enlightening, transformative experience. Jan encourages us to think outside the box, as the world inside this box is much like the hamster wheel, with so much effort applied but moving nowhere.

Jan uses Hastens as a reference point for his illustrations, and it really does send the message home since this is a company that is well known for its premium beds that are produced with the consumers' needs at the heart of the company. Just as Hastens has gained brand recognition internationally, Jan encourages us to master our skills. That way, we can become creators, and then abundance will come to us because once you move to an abundance mindset, the opportunities as well as the money will be there since money needs us to express its value.

Jan has presented his insight about how to go about life by pointing toward possible answers to provide clarity and induce the reader to think; for this, I'd credit him as an educator. He shares his insights from other well-known principles like the Hawkin's scale just to highlight it, as it is what I'll need to keep evaluating myself when it comes to my vibrations and fending off negative energy.

I have to give credit to Jan, as he is an executive salesman who has earned his place as CEO of Hastens. I ended up looking up the Grand Vividus on Google, and indeed, the piece about this bed in this book is praiseworthy and has amazing selling pointers that a salesman would apply. Discover the gems on each page by looking into this book to uncover success, abundance, and joy. I give it a rating of a full 5 out of 5 stars. I did, however, come across a few grammatical errors, but I'll not deduct a star on this demerit alone, as I find absolutely nothing to dislike about the book.

I recommend this book to family business owners, innovators, start-up companies, salesmen, and anyone who is willing to invest in themselves and get out of the victim mentality and self-sabotaging attitudes.

I read this novel, and my highlight was Chapter Two, which delves into Jan Ryde's life story. He candidly shares his childhood experiences, the adversities he faced, and the profound shift in his mindset that enabled him to overcome the challenges.
