I liked that the novel is not crowded with too many characters. Generally, too much mystery and the dragged suspense bore me, but the protagonist Kieron's character sketch seems intriguing enough to compel me to read the novel.

Ok, I just have two questions left after this review: why would someone orchestrated something like this; and for what reason Kieron was chosen? He is not some mere mortal, but a Commander, certainly a more easy target could have been found for manipulation. Fortunately, I will find my answers pretty soon by reading the book! Congratulations on BOTD!

I did not understand the cover picture of this book at all, it seemed rather complex. However, other than that, this book sounds exciting and very complicated in a good way. I always enjoy a good mystery. Even better if it is spiced up with a good dialogue, as seems to be the case here. Thank you for the lovely review!
