"Hard Kill" by Bill Eckel. An interesting sci-fi novel, an action packed novel, talks about Leal trying to keep his family safe, taking part in the revolution is never an easy task. There will be sacrifice in terms of the situation. Uploaders and Purists are on conflict. Congrats on your #BOTD.

This is a sci-fi novel that is set in the distant future and is based on transhumanists who set up a colony on a dwarf planet called Eris after being exiled from Earth. Congratulations Botd!

Sci-fi isn't quite my style but by your review it me think of the show The 100 which I really loved! I may actually read this book since you recommend 5 our of 5!

This sci-fi, action thriller seems to have a well-woven plot. I'm curious about how half of Brock's mind isn't his. Thanks for this great review!

The fight for power and to rule while living forever is taken into space in this book. An interesting view of purists vs. uploaders as a way of surviving, with the little people getting caught in the crossfire. It wasn't my cup of tea but an interesting concept.

That is the book that will keep me glued to its pages till the very end. It sounds to be really exciting and intriguing with the government trying to eliminate the humans and with the main character's "half his mind no longer his". It will be interesting to read this book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This book seems great and fascinating. Your review is very well written to draw the reader's interest, and I would love to read it. I also think there must be other forms of life in a cosmos this large and expansive, when we are such a little spec.

I'm not really into SciFi books but after reading your intriguing review I just might move this book from my 'not interested' shelf to 'want to read' shelf. You made the story sound more interesting than I usually find with SciFi novels. The different characters you described in this story also piqued my interest for their parts in the revolution that happens. Well done and thank you for your explicit review it made all the difference in my decision to perhaps reading this book later.

I’m looking fiestas to digging into this novel to find out how Brock Henry protects his family as they interact with the Uploaders and the Purists who are both fighting for control of the dwarf planet Eris. I like reading sci-fi stories and this one is right up my alley.

I don't read many SciFi books, even though I am a Star Trek fan; however Hard Kill sounds interesting. For some reason the review reminds me of Babylon Five, although the book is probably nothing like it. I think younger readers would probably enjoy it. I am just an old fuddy duddy.

The story's action-packed narrative, unpredictable twists, and the evolution of characters like Lieutenant Brock Henry kept me hooked throughout. While the initial unfamiliar names in this new world briefly confused me, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment.

the futuristic world filled with suspense and twist. It sounds like a good option for sci-fi lovers. Though the topic about the extinction of human race is kinda make me anxious, I'd like to see how the protagonist change from an idealist to a rebel. Excellent review!
