I have always been a huge fan of dystopian novels! Your review makes the book sound great, it sounds original and absolutely unique. Third-Person is usually not my favorite point of view but I'm very curious about this book and seeing how the plot turns out. I'll consider giving it a try.

Stephanie Elizabeth gave The Prison of Power : A Man Made Tale by G Michael Smith a good review.

Stephanie highlights that the story is about, a world run by women, men who either accept this or plot revenge, and diverse characters whose stories are very interesting.

Stephanie points out that the story has a lot of sexual violence and is very long, close to seven hundred pages. In spite of these facts, Stephanie found that the book had a unique story line and engrossing characters. Stephanie gave The Prison Of Power : A Man made Tale a rating of Four out of Four Stars and recommends it to readers who are concerned about gender inequality and are not easily offended by profanity or scenes of sexual violence.

Stephanie, thank-you for giving such a good summary of this book. When I read the sample pages I was not sure about reading this book. Now I am putting it on my bookshelves, as it looks like an interesting read indeed!

Now I’m really lookimg forward to reading this book. The subdued human male, multiple protagonists – if that's even possible- and Smith's use of regular names, not made-up ones typical of this genre, are only three of the many reasons to read it that I’ve spotted in this review.

Wow, that’s such a unique idea for a dystopian world. We always talk about how men are running and ruining the world, so it would be very interesting to read how the world would turn if only women were in power. Awesome review, you’ve convinced me to read it!

"The Prison of Power: A Man-Made Tale" by G Michael Smith is a thrilling and thought-provoking dystopian novel that explores a world where women dominate all aspects of power and men are stripped of their autonomy. The story follows multiple captivating plotlines, including the kidnapping of a powerful woman's daughter, the training of a young man as a Loverboy, and an angry man seeking revenge. The complex characters, such as Eve, Sean, Vihaan, Margaret, Quinlan, and Nisheeta, add depth and diversity to the narrative. As I delved into the book, I found myself immersed in the suspenseful atmosphere and eager to uncover the fate of the male characters and the future of their gender. "The Prison of Power" raises thought-provoking questions about gender, power dynamics, and the potential for rebellion. Overall, it's an intense and gripping read that will keep you engaged until the very end. It will be worth your time !

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction story set in a dystopian world where there is a war on men and following several distinct people including a kidnapped daughter and a man attempting to get revenge on a police officer that ruined his life. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

The plot is very interesting so I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how the fringe groups will be able to fight the women ruling the world. I like action filled and suspense novels and this one is right up my alley.

What a compelling plot! I’ve never imagined an author taking a concept and stretching it further in a feminist approach where it was almost total female domination. The storyline and characters were enticing enough to follow along and increase excitement. Thank you for writing a fascinating review!

I can tell that the book is good, full of action, science, and futuristic concepts; however, the book page is too long for the new reader. I suggest this book to those who enjoy full-length books. Thanks for the detailed review.

The Prison of Power is all about the liberation of women and subjugation of men. But is it the ideal? Would the world be a better place? I have to read this book to find out. Thanks for your review.

This is a fictional book with a dystopia society in which women have stripped men from all power and decision making abilities. They have waged war and only time will tell if men will rise again. This is a well thought out society with immersive qualities that make a thrill to read. Congrats on the BOTD!

This sounds like a very interesting read. A dystopian world where women are in power and dominate men. It is certainly unlike anything that I have ever read before.

The content of the book is not one I would normally be a little leery about. The dystopian genre is not normally my go to genre. However, your review definitely has me curious!
