I'm posting this early, but stores are already selling all those cheesy Valentine goodies.


Love is all around
Or so it appears
Flowers, valentines, jewelry
Lavished on the victims
By the guilty.

The stores beckon
The money flows
The kiss, the touch
The meaningful glance
All for show
It dissipates quickly.
