Sounds very well thought out but it also sounds like somebody who has had the easier side of life in society. A lot of what was spoken is choices taken out of your hands when you are dealt a lower hand of society in this life from the beginning.
This poem is a great example of strong discipline..it teaches us how to control our emotions and stop to our limitations..Thus it shows us how to be graceful with boundaries, yes for me it's a superb definition ourselves, a great poem indeed..
It is simple yet powerful. I like the way how the poet describe about small minute things that happens in everyday life and how it describes equality between opposite sides. Everything in life should be balanced. It’s really related as it describes about how the life is. The phrases I love the most are where the poet tells about to be brave but not fearless. I think that being brave all the time is not how it’s supposed to be , sometimes being vulnerable and showing your fears is necessary too . Secondly how he talks about how to have fun in life without being too attached or cling . Being attached to someone or something is like poison or addiction. Thirdly to love and appreciate, without jealousy, cowardly, possessiveness and controlling. It is necessary in some part of life but too much of it can be suffocating. Apart from that I also enjoy the part where the poet describe about ultimate inner peace without suffering from the past experiences and also where he talks about to take a turn in life before it’s too late and there is no meaning left in this life. Overall it’s all about life and equality
Excellent poem on a day when my husband and I are having difficulty with a Workers Comp doctor. It is very informative, and I will keep it in my home on the wall to remind me daily how lucky we are to be here!
