Good review. This book is truly unique if it creates the mentioned blend. You mentioned a rape scene in the book but did not say how frequent or to what intensity that was. Some readers may get offended by such, even though it was shrouded in sarcasm.

This book is not for you if you're hoping for battles between angels and demons in the end times to decide the fate of humanity. On the other hand, you're in the proper location if you're looking for a huge God baby with a reptile tail. Every page of this book was surprising and mind-bending. Excellent review.

A very detailed and intriguing review. I am curious about Lily's life and if she could overcome her trauma or not. This genre is my favorite and the plot sounds really unique - combining darkness with divinity. I already got my copy and can't wait to dive in.

I'm not sure about whether I'd read this book, the series of murder after murder does not motivate me this time. I think I'll take a pass on this one.

I think the topics of friend’s murder and sexual assault are too heavy for my liking in a fictional novel. The plot does seem well-developed and suspenseful, however!

Lily is agnostic. I wonder if that changed after all the bizarre happenings in her life. Did you say the alley had a small dick? That's rather hard to imagine.

Good review, honest and detailed. The novel seems interesting, but I find it a bit vulgar, though the context is ripe for dirty words sometimes.

This book sounds suspenseful and makes me a bit curious. Not sure if this is a good book for me but I am a bit curious about Lily and seeing what she goes through. Mystery books can be very enjoyable and this seems like it a lot left to discover. I might consider giving it a try.

This book was absolutely phenomenally written. The protagonist is so realistic I couldn't help but trust their narration the entire book, and even started believing their interpretations of things with no question, even when they were objectively far-fetched.
