Review of Singularity

I am a bit curious about this book since I am a big science fiction fan. However it is really important for me that the books I read should have well develop characters. I also don't really like it when plots such as romance plots aren't fleshed out. I might consider it but for the most part I don't think this book is for me. Thank you for the honest review!

Thanks for your review, this sounds like an interesting SciFi book on how earth can sustain life and finding other worlds that can support humans. It touches on the issues of climate change and its impact on the earth.

I do not usually read science fiction books, but I'm certain others love to discover how Joseph and Daisy prove their theory on Singularity to humankind in this book. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

Jayme A. Oliveira Filho and Jayme S. Alencar's ‘Singularity’ is a book with many scientific terms and is about Earth and the existence of humans in this eco-system. A scientist and his daughter scientist hold theories about black holes and the young girl really wants to prove her dad’s theories correct.

I'm not a science geek myself, but I like the father-daughter dynamic in this story. is such a wholesome relationship and definitely piqued my interest. Also I appreciate that this book includes illustrations that make the content more accessible. Amazing review!

As a science geek and someone who worries about how our future will look after all the changes that are happening to our climate, I can definitely say this is a book that I absolutely want to read! Science-fiction is such an interesting genre, you can never get tired of it, and this one includes actual problems that we are living right now, making it more impactful. Thank you for this review!

I am fascinated by the Earth's ability to sustain human life and climate change's threat to humanity. I am intrigued by Joseph Silva's theory on how us humans can access other universes by passing through the 'singularity' of a black hole. I am interested in learning if Joseph Silva's daughter, Daisy Silva, would be able prove her father's theory and restore his honor in the scientific world.

This is the kind of book I love to read. Go straight to the point. There's no need to waste words, it just bore someone at the end of the day. Big kudos to the authors.

Drawing awareness to climate change, today's BOTD is a scifi novel that focuses on the future of mankind in the 22nd century. Readers of the genre, as well as fans of romance, will enjoy this thought-provoking read and its various themes surrounding survival, the universe, love, and religion. It's not for me, but I appreciate your helpful review. Keep up the great work!

Great review. 4 out of 4. I trust that despite this book being it's second edition, that the reviewer is correct in pointing out it needs another round of editing. Such a shame for a story that has a sound premise and has required much research. The sample was over too soon. I love this kind of sci-fi. Well done for Book of the Day.

A daughter’s resilience, persistence, and determination to prove her father’s theories is an act of love. I am usually not interested in science fi, but I will give this book a read due to the compelling plot. Thank you for writing an exemplary review!

science has always been an interesting subject and this one is more interesting as it speaks about the black hole.

Any book that can make your cry and think deeply is a book worth reading. The last Sci-fi book I read made me feel so much despair and angst, I was afraid for humanity's survival. I have yet to find another book to surpass those feelings I've had. I'm hoping this book will give me that needed dose of thought provoking ideas and emotional ride.

Wow! I'd love to read this book! It touches on a number of different topics that excites me.
The thought of "what if!" What if there is a world beyond earth. What if we could leave this "sick" planet and vacate to another.
Then there is the science Vs religion Vs imagination!
How when all combined or expanded brings some amazing discoveries that makes the mind think further and deeper.
I love how the story includes the passion from parent to child sharing the common traits and that phrase: the apple doesn't fall from the apple tree.
