I am not a SciFi usual reader but your enticing review just may make me decide to read this book, "What Do You Think, Mr. Collins?" The fact that this book seems like our own reality here on our earth, makes me want to read on to the similar universe Al is describing.

“I'm afraid the American dream, sir, was really... only a dream.”- states Alfred, an AI in a parallel universe, that actually reflects some of our current reality. Dishonest social media, the Asian mafia, androids, a terrorist attack - it seems like the city of Paradise could exist in our world today. The future seems to have caught up with us in the novel, "What Do You Think, Mr. Collins?" by Neal Bialostosky. It sounds like this book could be read for insights as well as for enjoyment.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

This sci-fi book seems interesting. In the book, it seems that the concept of a parallel universe and our modern life problems are brought together to create the masterpiece 'What do you think, Mr. Collins?'
You may not be the center of the entire world, but you are the center of your own world.

What Do You Think, Mr. Collins?" takes you on a journey to a parallel world strikingly similar to our own. It skillfully weaves modern-day problems into its narrative, from corrupt social media to androids. The emotional depth of the characters, particularly the bond with android Nan, is a standout feature. Alfred's AI character adds complexity to the story. Neal Bialostovsky's experimental approach pays off, resulting in a captivating blend of satire and tragedy.

This book appears to be an engaging exploration of a parallel world with relatable modern-day challenges. The relationship between humans and androids, as well as the AI's role in the story is very interesting. Congrats on BOTD!

"What Do You Think, Mr. Collins?" by Neal Bialostosky being a mixture of satire and tragedy gives me a cold feet to read it but the story being shown through the prism of our time is interesting.Nice review.

It's really hard to pull off the parallel universe concept when it has already been done so many times. However, I truly enjoy reading about parallel universes and I would be willing o give this book a try. It seems really interesting and really well written. I am also interested in seeing how the author pulls of the satire.

The plot is an interesting one but not one that would interest me. The concept of humans having emotional attachments to androids or AI, is an area that has been explored by authors and movie writers as something we look forward to in the future
It’s an experimental work. One that would interest lovers of technology and tragedy.

Congrats on a great review! I always thought that there was a parallel universe out there. How could there not be? To think that we are the only ones living in the vast galaxy is a little naiive. They may not look or sound like us, but they are out there.

The novel is relevant to our world since the author told us about the Asian mafia, androids, corrupt social media, and terrorist assault in a place that resembles Paradise but has similar issues. An amazing review.

Technology is indeed changing the world, and reality may very well start to become blurred. I will pass on this book, but I do appreciate the idea behind this sci-fi novel.

Your mention of the android nanny and how readers can relate to the attachment felt towards it adds depth to your review, showcasing how the book explores complex human-technology relationships. Congrats on BOTD.
