Ryan Daniels: Good Night, Firefly is an interesting children's book written by Ada Aguilar. Ryan’s mom closed the colourful book and kissed Ryan goodnight, but Ryan did not want to sleep. Ryan tried to make excuses so he would stay awake. He saw sleep as boring. After his mom left his room, he saw something shining from his window. He went to check it out, and it was a firefly. It was the prettiest firefly that he had ever seen. The firefly was Ozcar. Ozcar was about to carry out its last good deed, and Ryan was going with him. Where did Ozcar take Ryan?

I loved everything about this book. It had an interesting storyline that will keep children glued to it. The inclusion and description of the magical scene were beautiful, and I am certain that it will leave children in awe when they read about it. The author is experienced. She took the short attention span of children into consideration while creating this masterpiece. The bright and colourful illustrations will definitely make children more interested in this book.

There are lessons to be learned from this book, for example, about the importance of sleep and many other things. There is also a bit of humour in this book. This book is perfect, and there is nothing to dislike about it. The choice of diction was mild and would not be difficult for children to understand.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it was beautifully written, and there was nothing to dislike about it. There were no grammatical errors or typos, and this shows that this book was perfectly edited. So, I recommend it to children between the ages of 2 and 8 years old. With how this book was written, they may be able to read it with or without the aid of an older person. I also recommend this book to children’s teachers. They can read it to the children during class periods.

This book had very colorful images and helped explain, via storytelling and magic, why sleep is very important to children. Parents need to pick up a copy of this book to read to their kids.

Did Ryan name the firefly by himself or... Anyways, I am looking forward to reading this book to find out. I love children books especially because of the illustrations. Thanks for an interesting review.
