Being raised as a Catholic, I can understand the importance of these kinds of books that are a guide for those times when we are lost and don't know for sure how to handle our lives.
And the author's life experiences are always a great way to connect with the readers and give us a clear example of the author's point of view.
Great review, very detailed and well written.

I think everyone has to find their own balance with God. I'm sure that this book gives great guidelines in how to do that. I however, don't think this is something that I would read. I have my balance already. Thanks for a detailed review.

Ideally, it is quite difficult to decipher the Godly way of doing things. The permutation and combination that comes in play, the moves made on His behalf, so as to, offset the imbalance, as though. Not worth to miss out James's wisdom piece.

"A God-Balanced Life" by James Puckett Sr. is a great book for any Christian or non-Christian who would like to deepen their relationship with God. The way to balance your life is to follow the guidelines that the Bible has laid down and Puckett backs up what he says with Bible references. This book has some personal stories that will help the reader see the values played out by real people. Puckett also makes a plea for God-fearing people to tithe and he backs that up with a personal story and with the Bible also.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

From just reading the preview, I am very interested in reading the full book and sharing with my pastor for review with our young adults. Having a healthy, well balanced life is so important right now but it can also be difficult for many. A God-Balanced Life offers a great introduction to what it means to have a healthy, spiritually balanced life with reverence to scripture as a foundation. I think this will be a good read for those of us that are veterans in our walk with God or just starting on the journey.

This self-help Christian book pretends to guide and explain spiritual balance through a religious perspective. What do you need to live a balanced, Christian, and God-focused life?

I'm not a fan of self-help books or of Christian books, so this one is really not for me. The book is supposed to help point put the benefits of leading a Christian life.

This book is Amazing for any Christian who want to strengthen his faith in God, it gives someone all the reasons why you should wait on God because Gods timing is always perfect. The fact that the Author even outlines Bible verses to backup his points it is an amazingly good read.

This is an interesting Christian book, the author's work is commendable. The way the author used instances from his personal experience impressed me. Congratulations on BOTD.

The writing was very thought provoking for me. To be balanced in God's eyes to be focused on him in our daily life and walk. I really liked the idea of bring balanced as a whole person. This excerpt makes me want to read the whole book.

I am sure this book would be a valuable source of insights for its target audience, especially as the author recounts his personal experiences. However, books with religious aspects are not really my forte. Thanks for the awesome review though!

I am currently reading this book and hope to gain a lot eventually. It is true that living like Jesus and obeying God's Word are supreme for any Christian trying to lead a balanced life. Thanks for the informative review.
