I love investigative books a lot. The suspense in this story made it more engaging. I believe that Lara and Uri are highly skilled in tackling this matter. Congrats on BOTD.

East Wind by Jack Winnick seems like a captivating espionage thriller. The characters' unique backgrounds promise depth and the impending nuclear threat creates a gripping backdrop.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller novel following Lara and Uri, two government agents, as they pursue and attempt to stop a terrorist group from using a nuclear fission bomb that is being smuggled into the US. It might be worth a second look. Well done. Congrats!

I guess Walid Jahangiri must choose what's right not what's wrong just because it is his original belief.

The author's skill in weaving this narrative is truly commendable. Their adeptness is evident in the seamless transition of perspective between different characters and the rich development of the characters' backgrounds. As a fervent enthusiast of thrillers, I eagerly anticipate delving into this book.

East wind' has a flowing and chilling experience when Uri goes to Lebanon,he is so dedicated in fighting this terrorists.Jack Winnick's investigative novel has ways of ascension and descention when it comes to flows of tragic moments like when Walid Jahangiri becomes a focus from when he was a teen to the time he becomes a real professional threat and is now being hunted. The author has a good touch to keep the flow on and on.Kudos👏

I like that the characters background stories are included, it gives the reader more to go by.There are so many spy thrillers out there that I was worried about how this one develops. It sounds like a good read!

I recently read this book and found it to be quite enjoyable. The story development was particularly engaging. As someone who appreciates spy thrillers in both book and movie form, I highly recommend giving this book a chance. It's an easy read and the relationship between Uri and Lara further lightens the narrative.

The second I saw that this review was about a Jack Winnick book, I hoped it would be one of Uri and Lara's adventures. I was just recently introduced to these characters via his 5th book (which was a BOTD recently), Waterworks. I'm not quite done with that book but I'm loving reading about Uri and Lara, and this review is spot on about how the author does a great job of switching the narrative perspectives from one character to another. The reviewer is also correct in that Jack Winnick (at least in book 5) does a great job with providing background stories to the characters. I'm super excited to read this book!

This is definitely an intriguing spy thriller. A page turner full of twists and turns that takes inspiration from real life. However, I don’t know if I agree with the concept the author is trying to convey. Thanks for the review!

This is a historical fiction novel that follows the efforts of Mossad agent Uri and FBI agent Lara to stop a Hezbollah terrorist plot to detonate a nuclear bomb on U.S. soil. The book is the first in a series of Lara and Uri novels that combine action, suspense, and romance.
