I didn't know there was a prequel to this book. I'm a bit surprised too, especially with how this one started. I'm curious about its plot and which character's point of view the narration is from.

I didn't know their was a first book either. This one felt like a solid standalone. I wonder if the first book is totally different characters?

I completely agree with you on the surprise of this not being a standalone book or the first in a series.

Wow. I had no idea that there was a first book. I didn't read it. I just read this one and the story seemed original. I would never have guessed that.

I had no idea that there had been a prior book! I typically read the novels in a series in order. Now, I feel somewhat leftout.

I figured this book was part of a series but I always thought that this was going to be the first in a series of tales. I checked Amazon and it turns out this is part of her "Legends of the Grail" series. I might give her other books a read and see if it changes how I see Nimue!

I've finished reading the series' first book. However, if everything else was equal, I believe I would be willing to read them. I think the author did a good job with this one and I hope that she continues to do so, if not better, in the other series.

Oh wow, I didn't know there is a book before this one. Seeing how this is a fun book, I can't wait to try to read the first book.

I would like to read that first book and then reread Nimue. Even if they are standalone books, sometimes authors put hints of other books in separate ones.

I didn't even know there was a first book. I just got done reading this one and thought it was really interesting. Might have to check the other one out and anything else by the author.

Thank you so much for mentioning that this book is part of the 'Legends of the Grail' series! I've been trying to find it, and now I'm excited to explore this book and see how it changes my perspective on Nimue.

Nimue reads so perfectly standalone that I never thought there was a prequel! Thank you for mentioning this, I am loving Nimue and would read all books in the series! :)
