Mac's situation, with all the personal issues and the pandemic happening, seems interesting considering the fact that he has to work. I would like to see how he divides his time.

After reading the review for this novel, I'm all in. Number one, I'm a huge fan of mystery novels. And, number two, I want to see this mother-son relationship evolve during this pandemic they are in. Congrats to the author having the BOTD. I cannot wait to delve deeper into this story.

Family is most important and many of us realize this only after some major or minor tragedy. In the book *A Week's Worth* by Thyme Lewis our narrator is ex-military now working for FEMA and knows how to be a first responder in the face of a crisis. He, however, does not know how to appropriately respond to his mom when she has a health scare and ongoing health issues. He takes a week’s vacation to try to reconnect with his mother and the adventure unfolds for the reader. Pick up this book today.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

“A Week’s Worth” by Thyme Lewis is a fictional mystery story that follows Mac, a retired Navy officer that now works for FEMA. Mac received troubling news about his mom and he decided he needs to rekindle his relationship with his mother. He learns from his sister that mom had a heart attack so he decides to take a week of vacation time, travel to California and spend the week with mom at his LA apartment. Unfortunately, mom has a serious weight issue, the pandemic is ongoing and there is a spike in the homeless epidemic. To further complicate matters he has to deal with new management at his apartment complex and the number of people that are dying around them. There are fifty-six chapters and one needs to read the entire book to learn what happens to Mac and his mom Sadie. Very good review.

Nice review. I wonder how you were able to find an error while listening to a book. I should also try listening to one. I like a good mystery. Since you have written so highly about this one, I should start with it.

Mac's case is not a new case that has never happened before. However it is good to see and solve cases differently. Great review.
