I'd like to listen to this audiobook! The story is a combination of mystery and drama. The characters dealt with issues on health and financial situation, which made them relatable. I hope the ending showed the reconciliation of their relationships. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Based on this review, I will give this book a chance. I'm not a fond reader of the thriller genre, but this review certainly got my attention on Mac's complex life. I would like to see how his relationship with his mother plays out from beginning to end and how the challenges they encounter affect their relationship. Thank you for your review :D

Yes as stated 56 chapters are alot to read but it's very interesting I love it. Navy officer Mac remind me of my deceased Brother who was a Marine The toughest service to me there is. But he also wanted to get back close with our Mom

I enjoy how it addresses themes like homelessness; I don't think I've ever read a fictional story that did. I absolutely want to learn more about it. Also, the idea that Mac's attempt to rebuild his relationship with his mother takes place during a pandemic is intriguing, and I'd like to read more about it.
