The BOTD features an intriguing murder mystery with a strong female lead role. The unpredictable plot twist will definitely appeal to readers who enjoy trying to solve the crime along with the main character.

The mystery aspect of this book was wonderfully handled. There were a few red herrings in relation to who the murderer was, but I won't mention anything about spoilers. I didn't know who they really were until it was revealed at the end. Nevertheless, I was able to deduce their identities from the book's many subtly placed indications. Very skilled job was completed.

It was an interesting concept. And I an extremely excited that the main character was an oil drilling manager as well as a woman. Any time a woman is portrayed doing a job that is not traditional makes me interestedly.

I'm all in when it comes to murder mysteries. Not only is Charlie's job in jeopardy of closing, due to these murders at this company, but she's also getting intertwined in finding who is behind these killings is even scarier. I'm going to get this book because I want to find out who this killer is and the reason why this person did what they did.

I love murder mysteries. I'll definitely have to give this book a try, especially since you couldn't figure out the killer until it was revealed because that tells me the author did a great job. I'm not really interested in the oil industry, but I like that the author makes it simple to understand. Thank you for the review.

'Official Review: Derrick of Death' by Malvina Lerma presents an in-depth view of the engaging action thriller story of the book for readers. It expresses the main thoughts of the book for the lovers of crime fiction. The point that the book is a murder mystery at its core is worth mentioning in the review. I commend the point that this is a book with a strong female lead. Also, as mentioned in the review, the point that the introduction of the more technical aspects of drilling an oil well was well done in the book is remarkable for readers. Nice to learn that the book is the perfect length to read in an afternoon or two!

I'm really intrigued by the idea of the book, and I'm especially excited that the main character is a woman working in a male-dominated field. I love seeing women portrayed in non-traditional roles

Thank you for your great review. I read several chapters and also thought the writing was wonderful. I'm sure glad that George asked the questions for needing things explained further. I appreciated that very much. I always enjoy trying to guess who the murderer is and frequently wrong. It's more fun when the author writes it so well that one can guess it wrong several times until the end when it is revealed. I'm definitely adding this one to my list of books to read.
