Sounds like a book with fantastic characters. It also sounds incredibly intriguing. I will pick it up to know more of the premises of the story and find out how it ends. Thanks for the review.

Derrick of Death by Malvina Lerma is a murder mystery at its core. Charlie is a female oil rig manager who has just scored a job working for Triple Play, a company trying to get into the oil business. The job gets off to a good start until it is brought to a screeching halt when Charlie spots a body on site. It was determined that it was Karen's body. She was the wife of one of the senior members of Triple Play, Frank. It was known to everyone that Karen was not faithful. This was also not the first death the group had experienced. Prior to starting the drilling, a friend of theirs had died during a dinner under suspicious circumstances. Are the deaths connected? Who is the killer? Join Charlie as she pairs up with the landman, George, to try and find out.
-I like the mystery. A wonderful review. Thank you.

Mostly when I read a book I want to learn something either a new word or something else. So in this review, I learned that even in a position that appears as only for men even women can do it confidently, Charlie is my example in this review, the second thing is a new word (red herrings) according to my understanding is hiding some information, if am wrong, reviewer please correct me. Last but one I can say that I learned that to work on oil drilling companies sometimes is fatal mainly in higher positions. Lastly, let me thank the reviewer for this wonderful work

I'm certain "Derrick of Death" is an interesting and creative title for this death. I love the engaging way of involving the reader in solving the murder mystery. I hope Charlie continues solving it and doesn't end up a suspect which i think will be unlikely, but better be safe :D. Congratulations on BOTD.

When dealing with the oil industry, people can be a little greedy. Maybe this is the case with the mysterious murders that happen in this book. I'm curious to find out.

"Derrick of Death" by Malvina Lerma seems to be an engaging murder mystery, with a complex plot that keeps readers guessing about the killer's identity. The presence of red herrings and subtle clues adds depth to the mystery and contributes to the suspenseful narrative.

It appears Charlie has a lot on her plate in addition to the work she is expected to play. The fact that the author includes little details that point one to the killer in a subtle manner without revealing the identity is great; it makes the reader play an active role in solving the murder mystery. Thanks for the fascinating review!

I like a good mystery /murder novel so I'm excited to read this. I haven't read one for quite a while. I like the oil rig back ground, it's a trade I'm not to familiar with so learning about that would be interesting as well. Thanks for a well written review.

A murder mystery with a female lead sounds intriguing already. Throw in interesting characters, information about oil well and the plot to "Derrick of Death" by Malvina Lerma surely thickens.

I enjoy mystery novels, especially when it's hard to pinpoint the villain. It is good to know the book is as educational as it is entertaining.
