like the fact that the author promotes the idea of being appreciative because we tend to take so much for granted everyday. It is such a popular yet underrated concept.

The review of The Universal Call by Fatima El-Hindi calling readers to live a life of higher consciousness stimulates the reader to want to know more about how Fatima applies her knowledge of the Quran with her scientific understanding and her life experiences. Fatima blends tradition with modern day science to move towards her goals in life. It is interesting to find out how Fatima accurately proved that the Quran is a universal book about the human experience and our collective consciousness. After reading a few pages of the book myself, I want to read the rest of the book as the author writes so well that I did not want to put the book down.

"I was truly captivated by 'The Universal Call' by Fatima El-Hindi. Her fresh interpretations of the Quran, coupled with scientific wisdom and personal anecdotes, resonate deeply. What I loved most was her non-preachy approach; it allowed me to disagree without pressure. Her background and student testimonials reaffirmed her authority in the subject. This book is a concise, well-edited gem that effortlessly imparts wisdom on gratitude and the human experience. I couldn't find a single flaw, so it easily earns my 4 out of 4 rating. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking self-help insights, irrespective of their beliefs.

I believe in life beyond this world and that everything we do has eternal consequences. I also believe that we all have one purpose: to unite with the divine. I only wish humanity could work together for that purpose. I laud the author for attempting to inspire her readers to achieve that universal goal.

Definitely not my cup of tea, mostly because I don't believe in all those "higher consciousness", "higher powers" and such. To me, spirituality is ultimately tied to morality and ethics, so to be a "better person" one just needs to be decent and polite. Anyway, congrats with BOTD!

Although I am not a fan of religious books, but I am intrigued by the way Fatima has been so appreciative and wrote in both religious and non-religious way. I would love to add it to my list.
Thanks for the review and Congratulations on the BOTD!!

I didn't get as far as the self-help type section, but j really enjoyed the author's style. I found the section on her life story very emotive, with ups and downs as in everyone’s life.

"The Universal Call" by Fatima El-Hindi is a thought-provoking exploration of the human experience and the interpretation of the Qur'an. El-Hindi skillfully combines her background in the physical sciences with her passion for Islamic history and human consciousness to present a fresh perspective on the traditional understanding of the Qur'an.

A self-help book written from the point of view of Islam that is remarkably suitable for people of all religions. But as I am not much into non-fiction, it's not my cup of tea.
You may not be the center of the entire world, but you are the center of your own world.
