“Holy Terror” by John R. Dougherty is a story that goes into the supernatural world of angels. The story begins with a variety of murders occurring all over the state and all of the victims are evil with criminal records. One needs to read this book in order to learn about the supernatural workings in the natural realm. Dougherty has used Catholicism concepts to explain the supernatural happenings. I look forward to reading this book since I do believe in angels and their presence along with Satan in our world. I have always wondered why God allows evil people to live on Earth and kill innocent people. This story may shed light on how God is sending angels to remove many of these evil people. Very good review.

This great review filled in the gaps for me. Well written and it covered lots of different aspects of the book and the writing thereof. It also clarified why I did not enjoy reading the sample. Way too violent for me. One of the chapters, about a young lady Kim who met a grisly end, showed a corrupt detective trying to get information out of her before slaughtering her. Up to then, I felt some sort of feeling of justice having been meted out on ones deserving of execution. This is not a book for me despite being well written and interesting. I also don't like each chapter introducing a new caste of characters and crimes, despite the fact that the review explains how well it all comes together. Interesting choice for BOTD

This review and the summary of the book are intriguing, but the sample didn't really pique my interest. It sounds like such an interesting concept, but so far the execution has me underwhelmed.

"Holy Terror" by John R. Dougherty is a gripping novel that immerses readers in the supernatural realm of angels. The story revolves around a series of gruesome murders taking place across the state. What's intriguing is that all the victims have dark pasts and criminal records, and their deaths are marked by brutality beyond ordinary human capabilities. The mystery deepens as readers ponder who is responsible for these chilling killings and what motivates this passionate judgment upon the guilty. As the story unfolds, it leads to a thought-provoking exploration of whether eliminating the deserving can be considered the ultimate form of justice.

This captivating work is a testament to the author's imaginative storytelling and thorough research. John R. Dougherty brings angels to life, depicting their sense of purpose and the intensity of their commitment to justice. Thumo, in particular, stands out as a character filled with righteous anger for the evil on Earth, reflecting his inherent role as an agent of justice. The characters Lane and Ian also undergo compelling development and become central to the narrative's progression. This novel provides readers with an enlightening glimpse into the interplay between the supernatural and the natural realms.

One of the strengths of this story is the author's ability to vividly describe scenes, drawing readers into the narrative right from the beginning. The storytelling is fast-paced, avoiding redundancy, and keeps readers engaged throughout, which is a highly desirable trait in a book.

There's remarkably little to find fault with in this book. The plot, storytelling, and conclusion seamlessly come together to create a beautifully cohesive narrative. The introduction of characters is well-timed, and the story is filled with suspense and emotional ups and downs, making it a highly enjoyable read.

It's worth noting that the author draws inspiration from Catholicism, weaving elements of Catholic beliefs into the story. While this adds depth to the narrative, readers should approach the book with an open mind to fully appreciate the immersive experience it offers.

In my rating, "Holy Terror" by John R. Dougherty deserves a full 4 out of 4 stars. There are few, if any, aspects that would warrant a deduction. The book is meticulously edited, with minimal errors. I highly recommend it to fans of fictional novels with a touch of reality and to those who enjoy true crime and detective novels. However, it's important to mention that the book contains vividly described violent scenes, so reader discretion is advised.

After reading the sample from Amazon then reading your descriptive review on "Holy Terror" by John R. Dougherty, I was hooked into wanting to read this supernatural book. I love stories with angels in them especially when they are killing off horrific bad people. The author is very graphic when he is describing these murder scenes so I would be mindful of that before picking up this book to read.

Holy sh*t, I had my suspicions that Frank Miller was a right-wing, racist, misogynist wingnut, but this book just confirmed it. I spent the first half of this just trying to figure out what the f*ck was up and down and whether or not the stylized

Even though I normally dislike books with religious undertones, everything else about this book is calling my attention. I love that it has well-developed characters and I also love suspense and "emotional rollercoasters." Additionally, I like the fact that this is a book that leaves the reader thinking about moral dilemmas. Thanks for the review, I'll definitely have to take a look at this novel.

I find very interesting stories that involve the supernatural world and the angels are one of my favorite myths because of their sense of justice and care for the people.
But what caught me the most was the part of vivid descriptions in the book, I like when the book is so descriptive that makes you feel the story with the characters.
Great review, I am very interested to read this book soo

This book sounds fascinating! I like suspense, supernatural, murder/crime books and this sounds like it has it all. I'm very intrigued about evil getting their just desserts. I am also interested in books that can drive emotions so it definitely sounds like the book for me.
